  • Country and City (optional)
  • Grade in school or daycare

  • Where will they be on Christmas Eve

You will receive a confirmation email including the date, time, and a Zoom® link to visit Jolly Old Saint Nick. Mark your calendar and count the days until the exciting visit.

Tips for a Great Virtual Visit

Santa’s I.T. elves at the North Pole have put together a list of tips to ensure your ZOOM visit goes smoothly:

  • Update Your ZOOM Client to the Latest Version.  Select “Check for Updates” from the ZOOM drop-down menu.
  • Use the biggest screen available.  For the best possible experience, use a desktop or laptop computer.  If available, project (cast) or mirror the visit onto your big-screen TV!
  • Ethernet Cable.  If at all possible, connect your computer directly to your router with an Ethernet Cable – far superior to WiFi.
Note: Adapters are available to connect Ethernet cables to your Apple and Android devices (look here or here).
  • Reboot.  Restart your router, modem and the computer or device you’ll be using to visit Santa. Do this at least 1 hour before your visit so you can ensure that everything works in time for your visit.
  • Turn OFF other devices.  To improve the quality of your connection to the North Pole, turn OFF all devices in your home that use Wifi or the Internet (e.g. cell phones, printers, other computers, gaming consoles, TVs, PVRs, and smart speakers like Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.)  Ask everyone in the family to help out with this by NOT using the Internet during your visit.
  • Close Unneeded Browser Windows and Programs.  Close all unneeded tabs and open screens in your computer’s browser EXCEPT the one being used for the Zoom® visit.
  • Test Everything.  30 minutes BEFORE your online visit, test your computer, camera and microphone by opening the Zoom® Settings (gear icon) and clicking on audio and video options.
  • Sight and Sound.  Sit or stand in a WELL LIT and QUIET place.  The camera you are using should be as close to eye level as possible.  Your face should be well lit with lights that are BEHIND your camera.  And, be sure no lights are pointing into the camera lens from overhead or anywhere in your room.  This will cause the picture of you to be blurry and difficult for Santa to see.
  • Recording.  Feel free to use the ZOOM features to record or take screenshots at any time during your visit.
